menu How we work

First appointment

At the first appointment the therapist will discuss your condition with you and ask you about your medical history and experiences with previous treatments. When available X-rays or scans will be useful.

Next, the therapist will examine you to find out the area and nature of your problem. A decision will be made upon the most appropriate treatment for your case and a programme made tailored to your needs.

The therapist may also advise you on how you can treat or prevent your condition yourself, for example with some exercises to do at home or even you could be referred to someone else that could help you.

Next appointments

The previous treatment will be reviewed to see if it has been successful. If necessary the treatment will be adapted.

Does my insurance company cover your invoice?

Regularly patients ask us if their insurance company will pay for our treatment. This will depend on the insurance you have and the country you are from. We always recommend that you ask your company first. The following information is based upon the experience of our patients over the last years:

  • The Spanish or English National Health Service
    Will not cover our invoice.
  • Spanish or English private insurance companies
We understand that they cover an 80% to a 100% if your policy covers the assistance of doctors or therapist of your choice. Some of these policys would be: Sanitas Mundi, DKV Mundisalud, Mapfre Mundi, BUPA, etc.
  • Scandinavian Insurances
They usually cover from an 80% to a 100%.

We are registered in the Spanish Official Register of the "Ilustre Colegio de Fisioterapeutas de Andalucia" as number col. nº 2923 resp. col. nº 3140.
